Personal
I work hard.
I am my father’s daughter. To please his mother, Daddy received his law degree from the University of Southern California. To please his passion, he earned a second degree from USC in architecture. Early in his career, he designed and oversaw construction on buildings in downtown Los Angeles. Soon afterwards, he directed his interests to Palm Springs culminating with the completion of the famed Biltmore Hotel. Afterwards he moved our family to Oregon where he started a new chapter. In essence, Daddy became one of the first “flippers.” Only he preferred flipping ranches.
I vividly recall long dusty drives along dirt roads ending up at some remote ranch in Eastern Oregon. At these ranches I discovered my father’s work ethic. What he did with one hand rivaled what ranch hands did with two (he lost his left hand in a construction accident). By his side, I branded calves, mended fences, and moved irrigation pipe. Working hard is a way of life he taught me. Rest happens after the job is done. I now bring this same work ethic to my clients every day of the week. When you call, I answer. When you email, I respond promptly. This is who I am; this is what I’m about.
I’m honest.
I learned many lessons while working in the non-profit sector with unpaid volunteers in my years before real estate. Here is one of the most important: my word is the currency by which I gain trust. Without trust, there are no volunteers.
So it is with you. When I give you my word, it is based upon the best professional information I have at my disposal.
