Why Stage?

#1: Staging Considers the Wants and Needs of Buyers.

Today, buyers are looking to make an emotional connection. Staging is all about emotional impact.
Buyer’s agents say most buyers are willing to offer more money for a staged home in comparison to a similar non-staged home. Leaving your home “as is” helps your neighbor down the street who is staging their home.
81% of buyers say home staging makes it easier to visualize the house becoming “their home.”

#2: Staged Homes Sell Faster.

As a seller, you are competing with other houses in your neighborhood. Staging intends to create a favorable first impression. A survey by Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corp. found that staged homes spend half the time on the market as non-staged homes. The National Association of Realtors (NAR) survey found that the longer homes stay on the market, the further the price drops.

#3: Home Staging Increases the Perceived Value.

Our goal is to show your home in its best possible light. Buyers are willing to spend 1% to 5% more of the dollar value on a staged home than a non-staged home.
A survey by Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corp. found that in a robust seller’s market, staged homes sell for more than 6% above asking price of comparable non-staged homes in the same neighborhood.

For these reasons, I provide complimentary staging to all my sellers! Take a tour of the gallery featuring a few of the staged homes I’ve sold.

Delightful, honest, knowledgeable, caring and respectful - all words that come to mind when I think of Ivy Stanton. My husband and I were feeling overwhelmed trying to find a home in the fast-paced and highly competitive Austin real estate market; until we began working with Ivy. Her extensive knowledge of the local market was invaluable to us. We wouldn't have found a home without her help! She guided us through the process of building a home and was always available to answer any questions we had. We knew without a doubt that our best interests were her top priority.
